Hunter Douglas has over 40 years of experience with exterior sun control in architecture.  Systems are tested in real life conditions, including solar heating and wind conditions, ensuring that each system continues to look and perform well over time.  Every outdoor blind is custom manufactured in Denmark to address your needs exactly.

External Venetian Blinds use steel cable-guided roll-formed aluminium slats.  Commonly used in Singapore for balcony or outdoor patio situations, it is effective as a solar-shield, is wind-resistant and is available in both manually operated and motorised versions.  Slats are fully tiltable for light control and all profiles are finished to a colour of your choosing.

External Roller Blinds are used in similar situations as Venetian Blinds particularly when tilt control is unnecessary and more diffuse light control is desired.  Fabrics are steel cable-guided and available in both manually operated and motorised versions.  High strength fibreglass reinforced fabrics with welded edges are used to withstand the elements.  Fabrics include Serge, Basket and Star with mechanisms concealed in an elegant ‘softline’ designed headbox system.
